LITE+CYCLE has been elevating clean fragrance standards for the home since 2012, and was the first luxury scented candle to use 100% pure plant ingredients with 100% transparency. The brand has gone through three distinct packaging iterations that have elevated the brand through innovation, environmental awareness, and elegant functional design. A true pioneer, LITE+CYCLE has been shifting perspectives in packaging and home fragrance with each iteration.

MUSHROOM PACKAGING The first in the beauty / fragrance space to use mushroom packaging to showcase innovative packaging at its best.
STRIKE-ABLE LID The candle lid is a functional object that not only extinguishes the candle but also with its underside functioning as a striking surface for a strike-anywhere match. The custom mandala design was created to be an additional, and evocative, branding element.

MUSHROOM PACKAGING, HOME COMPOSTABLE 2012
HAND WRAPPED NAKED PILLAR CANDLES The top "button" acted as the scent sample, the string was the wick of the candle, Each element was useful and easily disposed off to lessen environmental impact.
STONE WHITE GLASS VESSLE WITH BRIGHT WHITE LOGO + WEIGHTED STRIKEABLE GOLD LID. The white of the vessel was thoughtfully chosen to blend into any environment, as to be universal, instead of a loud branding moment.
FUNCTIONAL + BEAUTIFUL The underside of the gold lid is designed with a custom pattern that creates a textured surface for igniting a strike-anywhere match. The gold lid is weighted to safely extinguish the candle without generating too much heat. The signature geometric pattern is a modern take on the mandala, a spiritual and symbolic representation of the universe, that Carl Jung, signifies to the whole self striving for harmony. The open negative space at the center represents a quiet point of focus - the lite.
